IMPACTED RESIDENTS INFORMATION - INTAKE - RESOURCES
The Foundation works with local Concho Valley Together which is a Community Organizations Active in Disasters (COAD) group of several organizations to assist in determining need and the provide the best way for financial support.
Those impacted with damage from a disaster need to complete the Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM) iSTAT damage survey (if this has already been done, no need to resubmit): https://damage.tdem.texas.gov
This TDEM iStat survey is utilized to quickly identify damage with all COAD members and coordinates the response in a disaster. Individuals impacted, survivors and volunteers can assist in completing this information for others through the iSTAT survey.
To help the San Angelo Area Foundation and Concho Valley Together assess damages for possible assistance from the Foundation's Disaster Relief Fund, we request impacted households complete this intake survey to help us try and address your unmet needs through our Community Partners with ongoing assistance with Long Term Recovery efforts.
This information will be used along with the iSTAT and FEMA damage survey to determine financial assistance for those significantly impacted.
The Concho Valley Community Action Agency is providing assistance to impacted residents in need of emergency temporary shelter or income based assistance at (325)653-2411 or https://www.cvcaa.org/
If a disaster is determined to eligible for federal assistance, one must file with FEMA for disaster assistance, at https://www.disasterassistance.gov
