Flooding on July 4, 2025 affected thousands of residents in the Concho Valley with more than 1,000 homes receiving major damage. The San Angelo Area Foundation, along with members of the COAD (Community Organizations Active in Disaster) have been helping residents who have been impacted through emergency grants from the Disaster Relief Fund to assist with pressing needs and immidate repairs to homes. As our community moves from response to recovery, a Long Term Recovery Group has been established to ensure a collaborative response continues to address unmet needs and/or challenges our residents are facing.
