Some options available to you for the administration of your endowment include:

• Agency Funds are endowed funds that use the total return to contribute an annual income stream back to area non-profit organizations, without the hassle of setting up and managing a private endowment or foundation.
  
  
• Designated Funds require the Foundation to distribute income from the funds to a particular charity or for a particular field of interest. This type of fund typically is used to underwrite a charitable venture or purpose.
  
  
• Donor Advised Funds allow the donors, within certain limits, to influence the use of the income and/or principal of the contributions. Most Donor Advised Funds are established as endowments in which a donor makes recommendations as to any distributions.
  
  
• Field of Interest and Unrestricted Funds usually are established by individual donors and held in perpetuity. The donors authorize the Foundation Board of Directors to use the income, and possibly the principal, from these gifts as they deem appropriate in discretionary grant making.
  
  
• Scholarships Funds allow the Foundation to administer scholarship services in addition to managing the investment of the fund. The Foundation has created a Scholarship Committee from its supporters to review applications for appropriate awards. A donor may request the Foundation distribute awards via criteria defined by the donor.

The Foundation can provide:

• Assistance to your investment advisor or your bank in setting up a variety of trusts;
  
  
• Assistance in working with your estate attorney;
  
  
• Various annuity offerings.
