The Foundation’s funds typically are endowed funds that have been placed with the Foundation. Endowed funds are invested to allow a 5% annual distribution as well as additional growth in order to keep pace with inflation. The Foundation has an unrestricted endowment fund it uses to make discretionary grants. On the following pages are listings of named funds which have been created with the San Angelo Area Foundation from inception through the fall of 2004.
