San Angelo Area Foundation

Introduction

Vision

In 2002 the San Angelo Health Foundation launched the San Angelo Area Foundation. While the SAHF is a private foundation, the SAAF is a community foundation whose mission is to improve quality of life in the San Angelo area by assisting philanthropic individuals aggregate funds to benefit the area.

Permanence

Endowed gifts to the San Angelo Area Foundation are permanent. Since the earnings are used in grant making, individual funds continue to grow while grants made from annual earnings support a wide variety of programs in the San Angelo area.

Bigger is Better

Advantages of size will allow the SAAF to maximize investment opportunities while keeping management costs lower than if a person were to purchase these types of services individually, thus allowing more money to go to meaningful grants.
